Discipline

Students are to abide by the rules and regulations of the school. Admission of the candidate will stand cancelled if he/she fails to attend class within first ten days from the date of commencement of the session. Students are required to attend class regularly. As per school rules a student must have a minimum of 75% attendance to qualify for appearing in the examination conducted during the session.

In case of absence, students are required to submit application, duly signed by parent/guardian only but in case of sickness it should be accompanied along with a medical certificate. No furniture should either be removed from or destroyed in the classroom. Plucking of flowers or fruits is prohibited. Silence is to be maintained during class hours. Students are required to maintain good conduct and discipline. Violation of school rules & regulations make a student liable for disciplinary action. Students are not supposed to carry/bring their cell phones or any valuables items to the school. The school shall not be responsible for the loss of any valuable goods brought to school by any student. It is mandatory for each & every parent/guardian to attend Parent Teacher Interaction organized in the school, so that they get aware of the progress of their ward. The progress report shall be shown to parents only and to no one else i.e. brother/sister/relative/tutor on progress report day. The progress report shall not be shown in any situation before/after the date assigned for it.

The School authorities have the right to remove/ rusticate any student for any of the following reasons:

.:. Immoral behavior.

.:. Habitual disregard shown to the school authorities, teacher or the school rules.

.:. Poor academic performance.

.:. Short attendance

.:. Reported dishonesty and use of unfair means during examination.

.:. Failure in class for two consecutive years.

.:. Non- payment of school fee for more than 2 months.

.:. Unfair demand for promotion/attendance etc. by parents/guardian.

.:. Rude behavior of parents/guardian with any authority/staff member of the school.

Rules of Conduct :-

.:. Girls with short hair should wear bands and those with shoulder length hair should make pony with elastic bands and girls who have long hair should plait their hair with elastic band.

.:. Finger nails must be short and kept clean.

.:. Students must reach school at least fifteen minutes before the school bell rings.

.:. Bringing of cell phones to the school is strictly prohibited, if found carrying or using it within the school premises, cell phone will be seized by the school administration.

.:. The length of hair of boys should not be more than one inch. Low waist pants are also not permitted. Paint bottom should be 17 inches.

.:. It is compulsory for all students to come in proper school uniform, failing which he/she will not be allowed to attend classes.

.:. Since it is a Co-educational school, it is expected from the students to observe a high standard of character. Use of vulgar, derogatory or abusive language is a punishable offence. Shouting and whistling is not allowed in the school. Firing crackers, Splashing colour, Defacing school building and property, bringing of sharp instruments to school are punishable offence and it could result in suspension/expulsion of the student from the school.

Rules concerning absence:

.:. If a student is absent on account of illness, the Principal and the class teacher should be intimated immediately and a medical certificate from an M.B.B.S Doctor shall be submitted. When the student rejoins the school, submission of Medical Certificate does not give exemption from any exams or from any test, it will only affect attendance of the child, i.e. on submission of Medical certificate, absence of child shall be converted into medical leave.

.:. Leave will be granted only on very urgent reasons and receipt of written request by the parent addressed to the Principal.

.:. Name of the student will be struck off who will remain absent without informing school for more than 10 days.

School Timing: School session starts from April to March.

Summer: –     07:50 am to 12:20 pm for Pre-Primary.

 

07:50 am to 01:20 pm for class I onwards.

 

Winter:-    08:50 am to 01:20 pm for Pre-Primary.

08:50 am to 02:20 pm for class I onwards.
